The Controller is designed to control the heating of water from the solar collector. The Solar Systems with one and two tanks are supported. Forced heating on schedule and temperature. The principle of control is similar to standard controllers of solar systems.
The controller consists of 2 units:
• Outdoor Unit, which directly controls the actuators and works with sensors.
• The Control Panel, which is mounted in place of an ordinary outlet or switch. The Panel has a colour touch screen and displays the current time and the parameters received from the Outdoor Unit.
The main screen of the display shows the outdoor temperature and the water temperature in the main tank. All current parameters can be also schematically displayed. The whole system is adjusted from the display unit.
The automation unit can work without a display, time synchronization will not be provided only and the time will be lost when the power is turned off.
The following functions and capabilities are provided:
1. Control of electric or gas water heating, provided that the set time and temperature range coincide at the set time. If the set temperature is not reached, heating is activated.
2. When working with one tank, one output can be configured to control any consumer on any sensor.
3. Control of the booster pump to increase the efficiency of heating from the sun. When a predetermined temperature difference is reached between the collector and the lower part of the tank, a Heat Pump is activated. If the collector temperature is the lower, its efficiency is the better.
4. Implemented protection from the boiling of the Solar Collector known as Heat Shedding. When the specified temperature in the Collector is reached, the Pump and Valve are turned on to discharge excessively hot water from the Collector.
5. It is possible to work with 2 tanks: basic and additional with priority. The second tank will begin to heat up if the First Tank has already warmed to the set temperature only. The Second Tank can be used as a battery for long-term storage of heat, heating or other needs.
6. Wireless Remote Controller control, autonomous operation of the controller.
7. Multiple Systems can work on the same frequency.
8. Protection against freezing of the collector.
